Threading the Ether is a highly unique piece. You'll hear the familiar Luminous World Orchestra sound where the Symphony Orchestra is combined with world instruments in a contemplative setting, although here a choir is added to the orchestra. Quite different from the other Luminous World Orchestra recordings where there is a highly distilled simplicity and a great holding back of passions, "Threading the Ether" is a deeply personal piece fraught with longing and deep spiritual feeling.
